ISPV results for Q1 2011 published

In Q1 2011, the gross monthly wage in the wage sphere grew; in the salary sphere, salaries were decreased. In the wage sphere, the gross monthly wage median amounted to CZK 19,303. In the salary sphere, the gross monthly salary median reached CZK 22,263 in the monitored period. In Q1 2011, the year-on-year growth of the average gross monthly wage in the wage sphere was 2.8% and it reached the amount of CZK 24,304. The year-on-year decrease of the average gross monthly salary was 1.7% to CZK 23,784.

During Q1 2011, employees in the wage sphere worked on average 150.2 hours per month. In the salary sphere, employees worked on average 155.8 hours per month, i.e. 5.6 hours more than in the wage sphere. In comparison with the same period of the previous year, the average number of worked hours in the wage sphere grew, namely by 1.4 hours per month.
